The Blue Shield International sent two experts to Port-au-Prince from 11th to 16th of April. Danielle Mincio (IFLA) and Christophe Jacobs (ICA and ANCBS) went there in order to work with our Haitian colleagues.
They have collected all necessary information for the establishment of a Blue Shield center for the treatment of damaged cultural heritage properties.
Our colleagues deployed huge efforts to rescue and protect their rich and unique cultural heritage since January.
The Blue Shield wishes to congratulate them wholeheartedly to decide to set up this National Blue Shield Committee. This is a good occasion for everybody to work in a more closer relationship with this new structure.
